Lightweight mountain cap designed to provide the ultimate weather protection. The design uses a 2 layer waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX® fabric with 100% taped seams. Many taped waterproof hats leave the seam behind the peak un-sealed for ease of manufacture. By working closely with the factory we were able to work out a method of sealing all the seams that still allows for bulk production. The 8 panel pattern is the result of tweaking the many prototypes and mock ups to give as low a profile fit possible.
