This project challenged the idea that night time running gear needs to be hi-vis and neon yellow. Runners don’t necessarily always want to draw attention to themselves, especially when running through dodgy parts of a city.
The resulting waist mounted torch uses a honey comb diffuser to direct a beam of light the patch of ground just in front of the runner. There’s very little light that spills out to the sides, so unless you’re directly in front of the runner you probably wont see the torch light.
